Will it be held on zoom?
Our conference will be held on heysummit, which is an online conferencing platform, but it will be integrated with zoom. You will receive an email providing a link in which you will click that will redirect you to another page.
Can Highschool students join?
Yes, anyone of all ages is welcome to join, not only specific to pre-dental students.
I never received an email?
Be sure to check your spam. You should be provided a zoom link 12 hours before the event from IPDSA and 20 minutes before from HeySummit (both links work).
Will it be recorded if I can't make a day or time?
Recordings will be provided for participants signed up within 2 weeks post conference.
If I have any questions, where can they be redirected?
Before or after the event, a live chat will be open throughout the weekend on the HeySummit platform.

Can I ask questions of speakers during the lecture?
Due to the limited time given for each speaker we ask that you share your questions through our live chat so we can leave it for the end of their presentation block. You will be able to reach out to speakers and have access to their contact information. There will be a networking event, which will also permit you to ask questions to speakers as well.
What is the Cancellation/Refund Policy?
Reservations for this event are nonrefundable.
What will I learn?
This will be a conference for all pre-dental students to learn a holistic view in the world of dentistry. The integration of both workshop and speaker panel will provide the many different perspectives in dentistry as well as provide resources and networking for students that want to pursue dental profession.
What Web Browser should I use?
We recommend you use Latest 3 versions of Chrome on desktop, tablet and mobile devices. Refrain from using Firefox.
Will I receive any volunteering hours?
For those interested in getting hours, a link will be sent at the end of the event for contact information, which provides an option for volunteering hours. Those that choose that option will get an official email and signature from our board to prove your volunteering and participation in the conference. A copy of your hours will also be redirected to your affiliated club if mentioned in the survey provided. If there are special requests needed, you are welcome to leave that in the additional comment box.
Are there system or device requirements required to experience the event?
We recommend using a desktop, tablet or phone to access the virtual event with the latest updates in order to not get into any technical difficulties with the HeySummit platform.
What internet capacity is recommended?
We recommend keeping the internet capacity within the 3 mbps or 10% of download bandwidth.
How long can I access the virtual platform?
The conference recordings will be available for 6 months
I registered, now what?
We are excited to have you join and ask to keep an eye out for 4 emails, one will provide your unique password, a payment receipt, a registration confirmation and an agenda. You will also be provided with the zoom link 12 hours before the event from IPDSA. As well as, a HeySummit notification 20 minutes before the event.
